A particular feature of our school is the strong sense of school spirit and comradeship held by students and parents alike. The P&C provide a vital role in bringing school and the community together.
The association is representative of the parents of the school and other citizens who are interested in the school. All parents are welcome and are encouraged to become actively involved, both in meetings and fundraising ventures.
The P&C raises money to provide additional resources and services, which benefit the children. In past years they have purchased air-conditioning for classrooms and the Library, water coolers, outdoor seating and laptops. They have also funded Dance Fever lessons, bus hire for end of year excursions, school camp contributions, graduation gifts for Year 6 students, contributions to general school funds and a revamped fish pond and revamped front entrance and seating area.
Meetings are held monthly and current dates are advertised in the School newsletters. New members are always welcome. Young children are able to attend, however, they must be supervised by their parents.
Fundraising ventures include - Easter raffles, Mother's/Father's Day stalls and raffles, Chocolate Drive and Discos as well as many other activities. Parents are encouraged to be involved in the fundraising activities of the P&C.
Tuckshop is held every Friday at first break. Volunteers are required to help out in the tuckshop on these days and parents may also help by donating items used in the tuckshop. Please see the tuckshop convenor if you can help in any way. Orders can be placed up until 9.00 am on Friday mornings. Please be aware that special Meal Deal days must be ordered by a particular date.
